Greetings from Blue Valley High School!
As part of our freshman Emerging Technologies Final, we are each delving into our own family history and then presenting the gathered information. It is a giant project and I can’t do it all on my own!  I need you to gather as many pictures and or pieces of information as you can!
·         Pictures of family members
·         Information
·         Pictures of valuable family artifacts or heirlooms
·         Any other piece of history that you can find
If you can’t help, that’s totally OK.
Thank you in advance for everything.
Sincerely,
Connor Heaton

Journal - Who is the oldest family member of your family you have ever met? What do you know about your family history? Have your parents ever told you anything thing about your family history?  Do you know what kind of heritage you have? Explain as much as you can about your family and any history you have knowledge of.

The oldest person I've met was my grandmother (mom's mom) I don't remember her that much since I was only 7 when I met her. She died a few years later. I don't know much about my family history and my family hasn't told me anything- not that I've asked. From what I can tell, we have a fairly boring family heritage. I do know that my great, great grandfather was of some importance, but I don't know what.

Journal - Which web design platform did you choose - Wix or Weebly? What are three things you've learned about Web Design so far?

I used Wix because I've used it before in the Web Design class last semester.
Three things I've learned about design:

1. Be unique
2. Utilize the space
3. You can always edit later.

Journal - What are you planning on doing for your stop-motion animation video? What story are you going to tell? How will your video be fun and different? Who is taking your photos? When are you taking your photos? I am sort of stumped. I keep imagining a great stop-motion video, but I can't tell what it is. I am thinking about either using my legos or some clay to portray a battle-of-sorts. I want it to be very interesting, as well as intricate. I am most likely going to take my photos on the weekend.

Journal - What do you know about Stop-Motion Animation? Have you ever heard of it before? If you haven't, what do you think it is? Explain. I have heard of Stop Motion Animation. It is a type of animation that requires a lot of patience and precision since each picture must be taken a frame at a time. It is slow, but It makes a great movie once it is completed.
